Carlos, I spoke to Antonio Richardson today. Talked about his favorites and his recruitment a little bit. Seemed like a very good and polite kid. What's your take on him?

top propsect in the state overall....his recruitment will rival James Stone from 2010 class....

Ensworth opener will be one of the biggest games of the year against Oakland and UK commit Tim McAdoo...Big Tiny will become a force this season...what did he say about Clemson? LSU? Michigan?

I guess I have to check out the read :)

Yes it will be interesting how Richardson fares on OL against McAdoo and Marvin Barton on Ensworth's DL. Having Darkwa in the backfield can't hurt.

It wasn't an interview really. Just called him and asked a few questions and got a couple quotes. Good and polite kid, answered questions with "Sir".

Where do you rate Gibson in terms of next year's class? I know a few of the people in Knoxville think he's the Top prospect in the state next year.

Also what about Washington? I think he may be a bit overated. Did not impress me at all at camp and heard he struggled big-time at FNL a few weeks back as well.

I would put gibson in the top4 players in the state in the 2011 class.....along with Richardson, Washington and D. Young.....

The thing you have to remember wwith Jabriel is that he started out so highly coveted, that he can only go down from here....people say he is overrated yet he has 12 offers or so already...that speaks volumes to me....

digging back through some tapes....TraDarius Goff ATH (5-11 215) from Columbia Central should be on the list he had over 140 tackles last season....

My top 4 would look like this:
1. Gibson (As a Linebacker)
2. Richardson
3. Young
4. Washington (Maybe)

Do you know if UF and TN have cooled on their recruitment of Washington or are they still both going after him all out?

What kind of prospects do think Nino Johnson and Travonte Thompson both out of Memphis are? I think those are two kids to really keep an eye on in the '11 class.

I think UF will wait and see.. ........it will be interesting to see if Jabriel gets a UT offer on Sept 1st...

I love Nino's upside.....with the basketball background and all. But he is raw....very athletic.....

I think Travonte Thompson is very good......he is going to be a special player by his SR.....performed very well this summer...and the coaches rave about him...

Marvin Barton does not play for Ensworth he plays for Whitehaven

Redden is preseason all city..him and Barton together make up one heck of a load to get around in the middle.......Redden reminds me of a baby warren sapp....have you seen film on Redden?

Not yet. Haven't done much film evaluating in the 2011 class yet. He should be a Top 3 DT in state from what I've heard. One of the top DL in Memphis for 2011.

Where are the Henry County trio on the top 100 2010? Just wondering. Subscription ran out and I'm not sure if I'm going to renew.
