point in the direction of this program for 2 reasons.

1. This game has given the Vols that much needed shot of confidence that has has eluded these young men for 2 years.

2. This game has given these players some positive reinforcement that all of their hard work and dedication hasn't been a waste of their time. It gave them a chance to see the results of their labor.

These players have put in so much work that this game actually HURT them to lose. I predict they have their best 2 weeks of preparation they have had so far. USCe is going going to come into a hungry buzz saw. USCe has the least room for error in this matchup.

I agree, but lets not get to ahead of ourselves, I know we were 4 inches away from winning that game, and we have the benefit of playing in 2 weeks, not one. However, we have seen teams, not just ours, lose a heartbreaker and totally fold. We have seen teams that rebounded and had a great finish to the regular season. It all starts with our upperclassmen. All they have known is defeats by big margins. I hope they take it upon themselves to course correct in the last 6 games. I think we have a big opportunity vs USC. Hopefully a enraged football team takes the field and plays pissed off vs the Cocks and we blow them out.

I said this 2 weeks ago, because I could see the improvements in this team. This next game will be the biggest improvement we've seen thus far in this team. Don't be fooled. The Vols have worked themselves into a position that they are a dangerous team, and you better bring your A game. Gone are the sloppily played games of the last 4 years.

USCe is having its share of issues right now. Clowney is an attitude nightmare for Spurier. There are some ugly things going on behind the scenes right now at USCe. They struggled against UK yesterday. We have 2 weeks to prepare, and I don't think Spurrier has enough time to correct the problems he is having with team attitudes there before we play.

I would agree if we had won. It does give us momentum for practice going into the bye week going into the USC game, we will find out if we learned anything from this game. Win, and you are right, lose, and it's LSU part deaux.

They felt what it was like to be in a big time game and not getting blowed out. I really hope they got some confidence and come out against SC fighting mad. GO VOLS!
