LSU beats Arkansas
Alabama beats Auburn
Georgia barely beats LSU

Final BCS standings:
1. LSU
2. Bama
(or vice versa)

BCS #2 team can't play in the NC game (or any BCS game) because UGA and BCS #1 team get the SEC's BCS bids.

Another similar possibility:
Arkansas beats LSU with 3-way tie for SEC west

UGA wins SEC championship game

BCS #1 and BCS #2 are both SEC teams that did not win their conference AND the team that lands #2 is excluded from the NC game because of the two-teams-per-conference rule.

Hope UGA beats LSU, LSU still gets national Title shot against Standford. #3 Arkansas and #2 Alabama are not even in BCS games. Talk about crazy.

What really sucks for the Vols, is that we could easily be in the Chick-Fil-A bowl if the BCS would take 3 SEC teams.

no there's a rule for that case:

No more than two teams from any one conference may receive berths in BCS games unless two non-champions from a BCS conference finish as the top two teams in the final BCS standings, in which case they will meet in the National Title Game while their conference champion will play in their conference's BCS bowl game.

So simply put:

NO ultimate destruction; Expected problem isn't a problem

it's in fact the only way 3 teams from a conference can play in BCS bowls

Cool, well as much as I doubt UGA would beat LSU, Bama, or Arky (the reason they are in the SECCG in the first place is that they didn't have to); it would be good for all the SEC bowl teams for the SEC to get 3 BCS locks...

Thanks for the info.

More likely and worse scenario IMO.
LSU beats Arkansas but loses to UGA.
Alabama moves to #1
Stanford moves to #2
LSU falls to #3.
BCSNCG between 2 teams that did not win their own DIVISION.

That would be hilarious. Where do you think UGA ends up?
