1. Scroggins was a disaster

2. Bell looked robotic

3. Gardner looked like a perfect fit for UM

4. Sims will do well at Bama

5. Rettig has a cannon, but not much else

6. Montana might not actually be right-handed

7. Wish Bray had been there to stack up.

How'd I do?

Pretty much right on but Simms didnt really impress me at all. He has a rocket for an arm but not very acurate. All in all I give ya a B+ :whistling:

All the Qbs looked bad, doesn't mean that they will be that bad.

Montana, Sims, Gardner looked the best...non of them were great

And none of them are UT players, so why the thread here?

See line 7.

How do you think Bray would have stacked up?

With the limited video of him, he has to be at least as good as what we witnessed today, right?

I mean, we haven't exactly seen much, but come on, he's gotta be in the top 6 nationally.

Sorry, throwing that one line in there is not just cause. No way to know how he would have done. Nor is one all star game ANY indication.

Now then, I think that Bray is as good as any of these guys that were chosen to play in this game. I also like the fact that he did not play here, UA game, and was practicing with the Vols last week. Much better for his fiture as our QB.

I thought Montana looked good. a few throws his footwork was a little off but then again he had pressure right in his face...he completed something no one else at the game could...a sentence.

Simms didn't impress me very much. I don't think he'll play much at Alabama, especially with McElroy being there another year, and then Star Jackson and McCarron behind them.

Simms looked just fine imo.

Simms looked like if someone does not get him away from McDonalds he will become a defensive tackle.

I dont care one way or another because they are not Vols, but Simms was definatly not in top shape IMO..

Looked like a potential weight problem there.

Simms looked like he had quite a bit of potential actually. I watched him in the Burger King skills competition too. I really like the way the ball comes out of his hand.

How about the fact that he's talking about recruits in the recruiting forum?

Geez... This place sometimes...

Geez....know what the heck you are talking about before you pop off....The post above, was when he started this thread in the Tennessee Football thread. I am the one that got it moved there, Skippy.
