at least the US legislation doesn't contain legal penalties if a school decides to not consider pizza a vegetable

Does not make me feel any better about the ruling, the fact that there are salaries being paid to individuals from the tax base to deliberate over such an issue, etc.

This agreement ensures that nutrient-rich vegetables such as potatoes, corn and peas will remain part of a balanced, healthy diet in federally funded school meals and recognizes the significant amounts of potassium, fiber and vitamins A and C provided by tomato paste, ensuring that students may continue to enjoy healthy meals such as pizza and pasta,' said Kraig Naasz, president of the American Frozen Food Institute.

Not to intervene in this moaning about government fest, but the EU claim is pretty obviously about the way bottled water is marketed, not actual treatment of dehydration.

I, of course, wonder who's running out to buy bottled water based on a fear of becoming dehydrated randomly, but, perhaps, there are a few dupes buying several cases a week just in that case.
