Greetings from SW Flight # something or other. Somewhere over, oh, I'm guessing Alabama, on my way to terrorize the nit regs at 1-3 no limit hold 'em at the Aria.

Thoughts:

1). Entire thread of course is just a sick brag that I'm headed to Vegas, plus that I ponied up the $5 for wifi.

2). Romney may win this. I doubt it, but he might. Even if he does, this is going to be the last time the GOP wins ....

Unless .....

They jettison the social conservatives who are THE stumbling block between any effort of the party to court Hispanics and, well, Hispanics.

Seriously, with the changing demographic, you have to let go.

Actually, Hispanics connect relatively well with some of the social conservative values. It's the close-border and no-safety netters in the GOP that turn them away.

I would bet gay marriage stances and family values in general are well aligned with Hispanic voters.

You are right, of course. I just didn't want to say Hispanicphobes.

I think it's awesome that you're a Florida fan and spent 5 bucks on wifi during a flight and came on Volnation.
