I was there that day. Section W, Row 48.

Dad always likes to get into the stadium early. I remember seeing Bear Bryant leaning against the goal post as the teams warmed up. Great day. I'll never forget it.

I was there as well. Can't remember what section but it was low near the endzone where we made game sealing interception. Worlds fair going on,about 300,000 near the stadium. My biggest memory of the game was a guy standing outside the stadium holding a huge wooden cross that read, where will you spend eternity- John 3-16. Most vivid memory of my lifetime.

I was a UT sophomore, sitting in Sec K, about midway up the lower level....had a great view of Chuck Coleman's TD as he was running straight towards my section. Still the most fun and excited I've ever been at any football game!

It's John Ward, but he did this in some sort of post production. One example...missing "the crowd goes beserk!"

Shoulder pads were much larger back then and they all wore standard size thigh and knee pads too. This was my senior year on the hill. Great memories and thanks for sharing the link.

Thank you interwebs for allowing me, whom was not even 2 yet when this game occurred, to view this wonderful win against the bear. :)

They did the Power T from the sideline back then. Never knew that, I was too young.

Thanks for the link. It was good to see Fuad "Money" Reveiz in action! Kick off into the wind and still puts it out of the end zone. Also, White, Bates and Gault! Hope tomorrows game is just as exciting

Yeah it was called the second look something like that aired like later that night or on Sundays. I know I watched it on channel from sneedville, TN. Defiantly not the high octane game day call. But Ward = priceless at anytime. GoVols.
