I am unsure of how many know him. Hearing on Twitter the Uber popular vol fan known as The Vol Colonel on social media has passed away. I can’t confirm it, but someone who says they are a lifelong friend said he passed. Was wondering if anyone can confirm that knows him offline?

Yes, sadly he passed away. He used to contribute to Basilio's blog and I always enjoyed his posts.

It is with great sadness to announce that my father has passed March 27th,2021 at 12:13 am. He suffered from severe health complications,but he is no longer suffering. Thank you so much for the support that he has gotten over the years as the VolColonel. As he would say GO VOLS
