The Walking Dead

"easily?" I doubt that. that's just way too damn long.

would be nice if they could wrap it up in 10-12 seasons. otherwise, the show is going to get extremely repetitive (which it is already on the verge of being to begin with).

I thought I read it's planned out through 12 seasons. Of course that doesn't mean a spinoff (Fear the WD etc.) won't still be going on.

So does anybody really care about a 90 min filler episode in the middle of the season? Lame

You don't like the idea of an episode that focuses entirely on Morgan. We get it. But some of us may be quite curious as to how a violent, crazed psycho could all of sudden turn into Gandhi in such a short period of time.

I don't have a problem so much with the episode but IF it is entirely just about Morgan and no progression from last week's cliffhanger, then I have to criticize the placement of the episode.

Based on how they left things with alexandria, if they take a complete detour and focus solely on Morgan, everyone has a right to be pissed.

My hope is they mix history and real time like they did to open the season

I'm sure it's already been posted, or someone picked up on it, but could be interesting coming up, with Maggie pregnant. Glen may be gone, but there will be a little Glen before too long. I don't know that it was spelled out in the last episode, but my wife is convinced - and I've learned not to argue with her about stuff like that.

I hope what I read isn't true but the source it came from is never wrong. I looked up spoilers intentionally just because I want to see if we will get anything other than Morgan. Here's a quote from what I found out. "No main characters will be shown other than Morgan". Man.. Eff that.

Why give us a 90 minute episode if you're showing nothing but him. Feels like a huge annoyance. You're not leaving us in suspense. You're turning us away. Tired of filler episodes like this.

It really no different than what a show like Lost used to do. Give a good cliff hanger then focus on something else for the following episode or two.

Ideally I would like closure on Glen this week but that doesnt mean this will.be a bad episode.

Look at its ratings. The type of show it is, people can die...just bring in new ones. I'm not saying it will but I think it easily could if it wanted to go that long. People may stop watching, but new people will start. It could lose half its ratings and still pull in whats considered good numbers. It will definitely hit 10. It just depends on how long they want to go with it.

Was so mad all week knowing that they were throwing away an episode. I loved it! Great writing!

If you're complaining about an episode before it's even aired you might be a fan of the show, a not so bright fan, but a fan nonetheless.

That was a fantastic episode and we also learned that Morgan kept the guy alive. I think he'll get back to killing sooner than later.

It did a great job of explaining Morgan's new code...still unrealistic and maddening...but now relatable.

I enjoyed the episode much more than I thought. The only thing I can say about it is I don't think it needed to be 90 mins. I think they could have gotten Morgan's story across in the normal hour. Either way I still enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

It was a good episode, though 90 minutes was too much. The only part I thought was dumb was :

The way Eastman died. For him to get bitten like that was kind of silly. Why didn't he hit the walker with his stick, or pull Morgan back, or....well anything other than turning his back into the walker.

I agree with you. I kept wondering how it was going to happen.

I had the same thought. So dumb. Also, i don't think you have to put spoilers on non-netflix shows. Everybody is supposed to be on the same ep or not in the convo, imo

I've seen this being said on TWD boards and I tend to agree. All life is precious is a great code to live by and I agree it is. However, it is much easier to live by when you're in an isolated cabin out in the middle of nowhere by yourself. When you're out trying to survive around hundreds of people trying to kill you every other day it just doesn't cut it anymore.
