The Walking Dead

The pace of this show now would greatly benefit from a season-dump platform like Netflix. The overall story of the season is fine, but this waiting a week to snail the story along is draining my enthusiasm.

I'm glad they have slowed down since season 4. Season 3 was way too fast paced, no character development for a lot of characters. Action action action.

This. Good lord the pace of this story has become unbearable. Tonight's episode was ok but again, the pace of the story is way too damn slow. They're taking 60 minutes to get through about 10 minutes of actual story progression.

I wonder how much Hardwick gets paid to pretend like this show is still awesome?

For me, it depends on the guests. Kevin Smith and Paul Bettany the other week were good/hilarious and the show was great. Tonight's show was just kinda meh. Chris Jericho was hilarious the time(s?) he's been on.

If you had any courage you would go ahead and off yourself.

wait, what?

haha i like the dude, but i agree. acted like tonight was all mindblowing when it was pretty downright awful.

kinda sad to see Deanna go. kinda liked her. except for her rage face at the end, that was facepalm worthy.

Honestly, I was just saying to myself they got through the house and onto the porch with absolutely no issues this just doesn't seem right. Then the azzhole kid starts calling for mommy while walking through a crowd of zombies.

That look though that Rick gave Deanna when she asks him to take care of Spencer was hilarious. He looked at her like, "are you ****ing kidding me"?!

Didn't watch talking dead but the walking dead was prob the most boring mid season ever. I think maybe because of the graphic novel my view of this show is slanted but it's just become awful.

Keep us updated. :)

I know they take liberties with the show, but unless she's sedated there is no way Judith doesn't pitch a fit when they put that sheet over her head.

First time I'm not looking forward to the next episode.

That's what I thought. Even my four year old would have pitched a major fit over that.

I disagree with a lot on here who think the show isn't very good anymore. I still really enjoy it, but last night's was just disappointing. The guy from the Wolves was interesting, at least. I think that actor does a good job.

They couldn't show on TV where they duct taped her mouth shut and put her to sleep.:loco:

I'm not saying you are wrong but I wonder what you find good about it. The main reason is I like the books so well I want to like the show but it just doesn't happen with the exception of a few episodes here and there

Lol yeah I busted out laughing at her rage face, and I'm pretty sure that wasn't what they were going for.

I didn't even watch Talking Dead because for one, an hour is too long and two, I got tired of them dragging out a discussion about episodes that are themselves are dragging out. It used to be entertaining but come on, they break down discussions on the most mundane details.

That was probably the worst midseason finale yet.

Same here; I used to defend the show but this season has been pretty bad. My main issue is the pacing is beyond terrible. At the rate they are going, they'd catch up to where the comic is right now in 15 more seasons.
