I own the movie and havent seen it yet, I was playing on watching it tommorrow, i will tell you how it is. I cant imagine Nicholas cage making a movie that is a waste of time.

I've wanted to see it since it came out. I've heard it's kinda like American Beauty. So if it's anything close to that, it's gotta be good.

i walked out of the weather man after suffering 45 minutes through it. It was just flat out horrible

That movie rocked..."it's got real bits of panther in it, so you know its good".

For comedic purposes, it did well, if you are looking for Oscar material, go somewhere else.

From who, other than the back of the DVD box? IMO, that's a heckuva stretch. Yes, it attempts to deal with a couple of ideas that are a bit "deeper" than your average chick-flick or shoot-em-up material. BUT. . . .it really just never gets going. I kind of felt like I could turn it off at anytime and not really ever wonder what was going happen. In fact, nothing really does happen.

Don't get me wrong, it's watchable, and possibly even better than some of the other garbage on the shelf at Blockbuster. But if you're looking for American Beauty 2, look elsewhere.

I didn't find it all that depressing. Same tone, I guess, but not nearly as "out-there," and not NEARLY as good.
