I'm a huge music lover and whether I'm working or at home, I usually have music playing. I thought I'd start an official "what album are you listening to" thread because I'd love to see what others on here listen to.

Right now, here's what's spinning in player right now...

Was listening to Frampton Comes Alive! for about two weeks straight. Finally got around to Chevelle's new cd - Sci-fi Crimes.

ehh. was pretty good the first time listening. now i kinda get bored with it

Ehh, you gotta understand where he's coming from here. It's a weird vibe, but I really like how well this album is done. Listening to this album is kind of like walking a street at night, after it's done raining. At least that's what I thought of this album.

You like it? ^
It's definitely a departure from the style of Deja Entu and The & Devil but its a very solid album. It's borderline screamo at points and lacks the depth lyrically and musically of the previous two. I think I've just been spoiled by there last two albums which were outstanding and I'm hoping it will grow on me but the thing I love about Brand New the most is their lyrics but this CD seems pretty shallow lyrically. Its a very solid release and I'm exited to be seeing them in November.
