Most halftime shows are unwatchable. The only exception I can think of was Prince a couple of years ago . . . and a lot of that was just because you wanted to see if he would be electrocuted in the rain.

I thought Prince did a really good job. Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen were also better than anything I can remember in a really long time. I'm definitely on board with getting one band rather than a bunch of pop stars lip-syncing to 50 second clips of their most recent songs, most of which are recognizable only to girls under the age of 16.

Springsteen is always amazing. Petty was great too. Same as Prince...

It is a hell of a lot better than watching Aerosmith do duets with Brittney, or see Janet's color pigmented breast with Justin Timberlake, or the gawd awful Black Eyed Peas.

The Who kick @ss live, even today.

because nothing says halftime of the biggest game of the year like some top-of-mind, at the forefront of eveything that is new...wait, what.....The Who?

continuing the recent trend of old, non-relevant acts to perform at halftime of the SB. way to go, NFL.

At least it isn't some stupid hip/hop, rap, country, or pop star!
