SC just handed a very good Clemson team their ass on a platter. I don't ever want to hear anything else about our win against SC. They had everybody healthy and we beat them straight up. The Clemson game just made our team look that much better. Good job team 117. Team 118 gonna be even that much stronger! GO VOLS!

that game was certainly the apex of the season. It was a lot of fun and the stadium rocked like the good old days. It is something to use as bedrock to build upon. GBO.

You're absolutely right. Jones did something that nobody thought he could do, especially with the talent that was on this team. We should all be very happy and proud of that win. The season was rough and tough but it's over and we still avoided losing more than seven games. Yes, we should have beat Vanderbilt and Georgia but that's just how it goes. Go Vols!

Was a good win, but still means nothing to me without a Bowl game, Hear is to hoping next years schedule is not as tough.

I think Pig's touchback cost us a bowl. I am not blaming him as it was just an odd circumstance. In fact, I applaud his effort.

Worley's injury likely cost us a bowl.

I'm hindsight starting Peterman over Worley at the swamp was the biggest mistake this staff made this year. They tries to give us that game in the first half and we tried to give it right back.

We didn't stop Georgia with 1:30 left and 70 yards between them and the endzone. We weren't going to stop them in overtime either.

The blowout losses to Oregon, MU, AU, and Bama and the loss to Vandy were also "legit".

On the season:

One good win.

One "good" loss.

Four bad losses- expected but margin was more than it should have been

One VERY bad loss to a significantly less talented team.

I can buy that Worley would have made a difference. I cannot buy that that is a legit excuse. UT isn't the first team to need a back up QB and even a Fr to play.

Team 118 starts ALOT of freshmen and JUCO transfers. I see several seniors losing their starting job next season to the freshmen.

Worley would have beaten Vandy. Dobbs had a very freshman game against them.

Eh, you don't know that though.

Defensive scheme would have probably changed not having a running QB in Worley. Id say they would have figured out a way to completely shut down our offense without that. It's an important piece to our offense and I believe it would have mad everything easier for our opponents.

It just really ends with someone's opinion though. No one knows and will never know.

I believe we could have won the Florida and Vandy games with Worley. The others probably didn't matter who started.

I loved being out and seeing the bammers suffer. They are really feeling it. Grown men, women and kids were actually crying as they left the bar. Auburn fans were rubbing it in.
