It's really hard to talk football, this week, after Darrent Williams. Growing up in Tennessee in the 80's I started following the Denver Broncos. Since Tennessee didn't have a pro team I somehow started pulling for the Broncos when John Elway was drafted. It's been up and down roller coaster ride but that pretty much goes for any team.

Anyway, the news of Darrent Williams just shocked me. Then, I found out he died in the arms of Jevon Walker and I truly broke out in tears. Darrent had such a bright future ahead of him and it's just a tragic loss. I just want to say my prayers are with Darrent's family. Godspeed bro.

Wow, that is sad. Hadn't heard the part about Walker.

Between that, the Titans and Vols... yeah, not a good weekend.

The last two are just trivial. It wouldn't have been good even if they'd won.

Wow, kinda paints a different picture of Javon Walker than most fans had of him in Green Bay doesn't it?

I was shocked when I first heard the news. Darrent did have a bright future ahead of him and it's very sad to see something like this.

Turns out Williams grew up in this area. (Ft. Worth I think) They have been covering the story a lot with the local angle. Very, very sad turn of events.
