The worst part about losing?

While losing in the tourney hurts, most likely losing Kennedy Chandler hurts big time.

An incredible talent and easily the best PG to come through Tennessee.

We can only hope he decides to run it back to get some revenge

I can't fault him if he chooses to go to the NBA, get that money.

The worst part about losing is watching teams we beat this year keeping on advancing while we know we could have played much better. If we'd just been beaten by a great team you can accept it. Instead we lost to a team that was pretty terrible all year, who got less than a half of play from their starting pg.

The missed shots were not great but we lost because we never adjusted to a 7'1 guy shooting from all areas on the court. Played him awful off picks. Doubled guards off him. Didn't double him in the post even though Michigan isn't a good 3 point shooting team. We've shown we can overcome bad shooting nights. We can't overcome bad defensive strategy on those nights.

Aidoo came in with Michigan up 10-2. He scored 4 points, got a rebound and Dickinson didn't make a shot or get a rebound while he was on the floor for 4 minutes. It was 12-10 when he left the game. He went out and Dickinson drained a 3 and got a rebound immediately. Dickinson scored 19 more points and got 10 more rebounds, while our athletic 7 footer with the 7'6" wingspan sat on the bench the rest of the game. Frustrating to say the least, after watching him be productive in the regular season, he gets shut down for the post season.

Totally agree wth 100% of your comments. Felt the exact same way. Defensive strategy and our bigs being out of position relative to defending Dickinson were really bad. And I totally agree about Aidoo. The guy shut down Kentucky's stud in the middle at the game in Knoxville. He's a great defender with incredible length. Yet mysteriously Barnes chose not to play him much. I like Barnes. Fine coach, great person. But clearly he was badly outcoached yesterday, and to your point personnel decisions (mainly Aidoo) were baffling to me. Oh well. Thankful to have made the tourney because that's never a given. But it would be nice if we could get in the tourney and actually beat the teams were supposed to beat.

It's not too good to have to live and die with a freshman point guard. Yes he is an exceptional talent. However he has way too many defensive lapses ( like the one late where the Mich. guard ran right by him on an inbound play for a warmup type layup) or as was happening late, taking too long to start team attacking (just standing at the top of the key dribbling as the defender just watched) or ill advised drives into a wall hoping for a foul (I know sometimes it works or the shot lucks in). Here again, there is a time for this type play (like when you are trying to foul a big out, etc.) Then there is the free throw problem. He should be at least an 80-85% shooter from the free throw line (I feel lack of mental concentration more than shot making ability). Can't be the ball handler late in close games shooting 70% or less from the FT line. These things all seem to be mental and lack of experience (experience is only gained one way, playing time). To me his biggest challenge is mental maturity, gonna take time! I guess the pros think he is worth the early draft spot. But to them he makes it or he doesn't. If he doesn't, well they just write him off and move on. (their big money well covers their chances and the player is lost to the game). NEED ANOTHER YEAR

He needs to stay. Tonight showed nobody is ready for the next level.
Sorry you are wrong. KC is most definitely ready and if anything tonight showed is his draft stock shot up! Fans are butt hurt over this one, because if we play them 20 times we beat them 18 but we caught them on a good night, and they caught us with our C game. At 60-54 if Uros just goes to the hole wide open instead of kicking out to the 3 pt line, the game is over! We missed all of the 3s and UM got out on fast breaks as a result. KC played his tale off and was obviously the best player on the court. KID is unstoppable!

Was KC defending Brooks? I thought that was the guy that killed us-- doubled his season PPG.

Yep. The gut punch is coming. You can just book Pearl's bunch into the final 4.
