I got excited watching Yemi playing big tonight! Of course it was The Citadel, but a game like that, I think is crucial for your up and comers to have! Of this freshman class, he's the one I love to watch play!

We needed a win with a large margin. I think the players were expecting to have a couple more of these.

Miller had a viscious 1st half against Pitt and pretty much rode the pine the 2nd half. So, who knows how this translates down the road. Fluke? or does the guy have legit skills. I guess Hall and Maymon better step it up. I saw a lot more fundemental play out of him than expected. He really tries to set hard picks, and I like how he was looking to roll off those picks and break towards basket. Obviously very conditioned as well.

Pretty impressive. He was really explosive and attacking last night. Seemed to be in the right place at the right time in a couple of those put backs. Really excited the kid had a good game.

Miller had a very efficient stat line in the CofC game, to the point that he probably should have been in the game down the stretch. I rememeber that one, because it's the game I went to.

UT Bench: 50 Starters: 36

I believe there wll eventually be some changes in our starting line-up if some of the starters do not start playing better ball. I think several of the players coming off the bench are proving that they deserve more playing time than some starters do.

If Stokes contributes early, that is a bonus. I wouldn't expect a lot until later in the season from him. Kenny Hall is playing better. I wish McRae could find some consistency from somewhere. Where have all the Skylar haters gone?

Skylar will only get better from here now that he is in an offense that works for his style of play. I am happy for him.

IMO, UT played with a lot of intensity for most of the night. The intensity picked up as the lead grew. I think I even saw Tatum hustle for a possession or two. :) Makanjuola put on one heck of a show in the second half.

The schedule is getting ready to become very fun.

I believe that is the CoC game you are thinking about.

Yes, I had my games mixed. That one is still a mystery. He was dominant. And we've barely seen him since. Cit is a terrible team. I saw a lot of times where they had lanes to drive, and it was almost as if they waited for UT to recover defensive position before they did anything. Bizarre. Definately the least athletic team I've seen UT play this year.

I was excited to see Yemi have such a great ending last night. Performances like that help someone to avoid getting lost in the shuffle.

I agree. I almost hope there is something else behind the scenes keeping him from playing. I really would like to see CCM whittle his lineup down to 8 players or so. We can't keep playing 10-11 guys a night. That's just a bad formula for continuity.

Both played about like they have been recently. Nothing spectatcular, but they didn't need to be vs Citadel. Both had 8 points and were effective shooting the ball. Tatum did have 3 TO's which is disappointing, but was most likely a product of trying to do too much against a far inferior opponent.
