I know a lot of you want to fire Butch, others want to fire coordinators, others want to fire everyone, and some want to punch a family member in the mouth.

I'm right there with you partially on a lot of those, especially the latter.

I think we let Butch handle business, I still feel he'll turn this program around 100%. I am not sold on the coordinators but I can't justify firing them after one season that they've coached with nonathletic players who are not made for their systems.(see dave clawson, 8-3 at bowling green)

But I think the past 4-5 years can be summarized into two words that Butch used after the game last night.

"Competitive character"

We all know we don't have enough SEC talent to be a good SEC team, albeit we do have enough talent to be able to beat Vandy. But these current players don't have a competitive character. Dooley and his staff weren't living, eating, sleeping, and breathing UT football but BUTch is. He's going to bring in kids who hate to lose more than they love to win. He's going to get these kids to give their all for UT EVERY SINGLE DAY.

We will be athletic, we will be competitive, we will be well coached, and we will win. Next year I'm expecting a totally different attitude and effort by our team even if there will be so many new comers.

Can't wait for all the Dooley players and their attitude to leave, but I do appreciate them coming to UT.

VOL FOR LIFE(and to me that's not just some fancy saying to me, it's a way of life)

Most of what I have read has not mentioned Jones directly but rather a few of his staff members that never should have made payroll here.

If that doesn't get fixed Jones' name will come up sooner rather than later.

I am unsure about that "we will be well coached" comment. I did not see a well coached team last night. In fact, I have only seen a well coached UT team a few times this season.

Nobody needs to be talking about firing anybody until this recruiting class is signed. Nothing seems to cause recruits to change their commitments more than talk about firing the coach who is recruiting them.

Staff is a big problem. No more excuses on how the other team had so much more talent. Vandy is a solid team, but with only one big time player (WR) and their staff beat us last night. We had a lot of things go against us with calls and players (North), but in the end if we had a better supporting staff, we still would have eeked out an ugly win IMO. We just need to worry about holding this recruiting class together.

Here's my question to some of you guys. Who can the University afford to hire if they fire CJB? The athletic department has operated in a deficit for the past couple of years, they are still paying Dooley and Fulmer, paying a hefty penny for the current staff, and just spent $20M renovating Neyland.

If this staff is given the boot in two years do you guys seriously think that the University can afford to hire a coaching staff that will meet the standards of this fan base?

The supporting staff did not make that fake field goal call last night. That's all Butch and that decision was terrible. No excuses for that kind of grade school decision making.

That's because they're stupid guy. They ****** the University's cash cow sideways. They can all point the finger at themselves for their, "butts in seats", "we love profit attitude". Winning and fielding a competitive team came last to these numb nuts. We are where we are because of that corporate mentality.. They're idiots, enough said.

I'm sure some of these recruits are thinking about changing their mind anyway.

Butch won't be fired for years. Pointless to even speculate about it. The instability of the program has given him a pass. He'll keep his "Best Staff in America" intact and keep trying to make fans believe that his system and playbook can dominate in the SEC. It doesn't mean we have to like it. Just live with it.

BS. Pass is thrown 3 yards further and you're talking about what a great call from Jones. We are short on execution and speed and until that is fixed we are where we are.
