12:00 central CSS - Carson Newman at Shaw.

It's not much, but from the looks of some of the topic lately, we need it.

It may not be the real meal, but it can serve as an appetizer, like deep fried mushrooms before babby back ribs, or a blooming onion before a nice filet mignon.

It isn't the main course, but it sure fills in the chinks until the main course arrives. :p

Anyone would be far better off watching Hoover play HS football on ESPN right now. That's what I'm doing, while I was co-oping in B'ham over the summer I lived up the road from Hoover HS, believe me, they have exactly what a HS program should be... why can't the bigtime TN HS teams do this? Like Riverdale, Oakland, MBA, Farragutt, Red Bank, etc. ?????

Yeah I'm watching that game now....curious to see if Tebow will announce where he will be going after the game. Kid will be a good college QB.

Tebow looks good, but John Parker Wilson's little brother looks just as good IN the pocket as Tebow... where Tebow will get you is in the open field.

now listen here, Carson-Newman football is Football. How many teams run the option veer with success anymore anyway? And carson-newman was part of arguably one of the greatest games ever (99 d2 national championship game). Sorry, have to stick up for my school.

yes Banks is at cn.

Sorry to put down CN, but I'd still rather watch Hoover play than most d-II teams out there. They're exciting.
