Two things:

A large percentage of the nation is below average.

It wouldn't be an interesting video if it was people answering things correctly.

Nerd, that is absolutely true. One of my father-in-law's favorite saying before he passed was "50% of ALL doctors graduated in the bottom half of the class." I would say that the same percentage applies in this case as to below average.
In addition, the point of posting the video is, would you want to be a defendant with one of these people on the jury? I totally understand why this guy does these. He has published 8 books as a result of the interviews on different subjects. Getting people to sign a petition to ban di-hydrogen oxide from our food supply is one of the subjects. It's scary how many people signed it.

I spent some time in jury selection a couple years ago and nothing surprises me anymore. I would be scared to death of a jury trial

I stopped, but the way he mentioned the Mt. Rushmore stuff to the white lady early made me think he was saying that King should be on Rushmore and that she agreed, not that he was already up there

I know that he can be misleading. He presents himself in a position of authority as a person with a microphone with a camera following him around. People naturally want to agree. I get it. But when he gets people to follow like sheep when he presents a ridiculous premise like getting people to sign a petition to REPEAL the Bill Of Rights because that's what Obama wants(a lie), I'm sorry, I have a problem with that. He got a lot of people to agree that Lee Harvey Oswalt shot Jesus in the 1300's. That is borderline insane!
