And despite what we all knew was going to be the ending, we refused to let ourselves think that could possibly be true.

That's right. About 1015 or so last night, I went to WJHL to check on some hs bball scores, and then all of a sudden those scores just didn't matter one bit.
It's heartbreaking.
There are so many people out there who would have taken care of that baby.

So much strangeness about the whole situation. Starting with waiting 2 months to report missing. The mother’s story about not wanting the abductors to flee. Then the mother reveals she is pregnant again. All that has come out about her family. This had tragedy written all over it from get home.

I knew as soon as I read she had been missing for over 2 months before she was reported missing that she was most likely dead. It is odd that they found her at the residence of the man who reported her.

The grandfather is just as crazy. The remains were found on the grandfather’s property, and he reported her missing. The entire family is poor white trash. That might sound cruel, but go look into their history. I’m not excusing the mother in this, but her life has been a nightmare too thanks to both of her parents
