The youth that we now rely on for gun laws and eating Tide Pods prove they can get even dumber!!

(WTHR) — Social media's latest online challenge isn't just outrageous, it's dangerous.

The Hot Coil Challenge has a participant press their bare skin against the red coils on the stovetop, according to 9News. The result, of course, is severe burns to the arm. Those videos are getting posted to YouTube.

Most of these type of "challenges" are over blown by the media. Though there are always some Darwin award winners to do it.

Remove all warning labels. Let the dumb ones die off.

My Mom still laughs about me saying "The 'save the idiots' crusade is irreparably damaging the gene pool.".

There are so many simply awesome warning labels out there it hard to pick a favorite. Here's a whole site dedicated to the matter.

This. People think because there are a few hundred extremely dumb teenagers doing these challenges that all teenagers today are dumb.

All teenagers have always been dumb, there was just no youtube for us to see the extreme outliers and judge an entire generation based off them.

When I was in HS, the fad was to pass each other out. I never did it, but I would guess 1 out of every 3 teenagers tried this.

We used to do that after getting really high because of the hallucinations it could cause. I stopped doing it though after I had a seizure. The really stupid thing was that right before that last time that caused the seizure, I had just watched my buddy have a seizure and start bleeding from his nose and mouth, from doing the same thing.

The problem with Darwinism is it missed a few of us.

Every generation is judged by the preceding one.

Funny they never look in the mirror to see who raised the next gen.
