maybe if we get a lot of "signatures" we can send the link to mike hamilton..lol. not only has the thick helmet stripe had better luck, it just looks better too. ya gotta complement the power T with a power stripe!

Thick stripe is much better.

I guess our uniforms looked better in 1998 because we were winning.

Someone did a photoshop not long ago of an orange helmet with white power "T".
That looked pretty cool I thought, but it'll never happen.

PLEASE......Somebody else stand up for our TRUE colors. Thank godness for Pat. OUR COLORS ARE COLUMBIA BLUE AND ORANGE...I'm so sick of the Delmonico induced halloween look!!!! ...And for that matter, John Ward's blind butt that caused the intro to black trim around the #'s in football. You cannot convince me that orange outlined with col Blue would not be distinguishable. Add college grey to the mix...I don't care, but this whole BLACK thing is killin' me......no class!!!

How about solid black with orange letters, numbers and stripes? A black helmet with an orange T outlined in white would look nice.

on ncaa football i had dynasty w/ tennessee. complete roster info and they played in all black w/ single orange shoulder striped (kinda like usc but skinny) and white numbers in orange outline, solid black pants w/ singe orange stripe, and black helmet w/ orange power and orange stripe. that would NEVER happen in reality but it sure would look awesome.

And our colors are orange and white, not orange and gay blue.

there's some things you just don't mess with. bring back the fat stripe. Leave the uniform colors alone....i don't want black, orange or whatever colored helmets. White Helmet, two power t's, and one big fat stripe.

that's how it should be. and black shoes. never do white shoes again. and don't ever do that stupid orange strip down the sides of the jersey and pants, ever again.

Black as an alternate color is nice. I think it used to be dark blue. Light blue will always be for women's sports and it should NEVER make it's way to the men's side.

that's what i wanted to see when we went to south bend!

and black as a main color wouldnt go over well with the geezers. It could be pulled off tho.

Well, we know for a fact that CPF ordered some solid orange pants the year after the '98 championship. I believe those were only worn once against Memphis for homecoming and we almost lost.
