- Woolridge at the 3 more. He didn't have a good game last night but I think he has the speed and capability to keep up with smaller guys and gives us more length out there. I wish he'd ease up from the arc because the guy has some hops and can get to the rim well enough not to settle for a brick. I've just given up on McBee getting any more minutes. His every now and then 3's aren't worth it. McRae is obviously clueless on what to do so I'd rather take a chance with someone else.

- Transition defense needs to get better! Besides the mental breakdowns, we aren't getting back in enough time. Granted, some of those transition opportunities Georgia had last night was due to being in the right place at the right time and the rebounds just falling right but we aren't getting back in time and it's hurting. Our half court defense is above average so if we could just get back in time, we'd be pretty amazing.

- Stokes continuing to learn and mature. His athletic ability alone makes him above average on offense. He's going to be scary good when he understands better on what he needs to do. I don't think you start Stokes until he understands what to do on defense better. Not sure if this is one of those things were you can watch game film until you puke or need to be just thrown in there to see different situations but he's too slow getting back to the post when disrupting the on ball defender and hesitates a lot when he switches. I really can't wait for this kid to learn the defense better and understand what to do in situations.

Anyone else?

My problem with Hall is he always looks for the big play. For example, when he got fouled in the 2nd half, all he had to do was put it off the glass and get the ft. Instead, he tries to dunk it. He did the same thing in the Kentucky game and numerous others. I just wish the guy would realize that every play doesn't need to make sports center and worry about getting points. Also, he plays way better defense than what we saw last night.

what id like to see is maymon and stokes on the floor together as much as possible.then feed the ball to them when they are posted.if they get doubled then find the guy cutting to the rim or the open man spotted up for the 3.if they dont get doubled more often than not they will score or get fouled.

I agree that Hall needs to play better but I disagree about your assessment of him laying it off the glass to get the three point play.

That was one of the few times he took it hard at the georgia defense. If he played like that all the time, he would be a heck of a player. You are asking alot for him to take it hard at Georgia going for the dunk, draw contact, change his path and lay it off the glass.

Stokes and Maymon seem to click well on the floor together.

Maymon's game picks up because he knows how to play ball and he knows Stokes knows how to play. The combination worked great in the first game, and worked well last night. Every time it got rolling, I'd see the Cooler at the table ready to check in. Immediately, bad plays ensued.

I disagree. He had his guy on his back right hip on the left side with a clear lane. He could have scooped it, gone 2 hands, or a little left layup of the square. He could have gotten those shots off with no D pressure.
Instead, he gathers himself, squats, then goes up with his right hand and extends the ball up where his defender is and help is coming. That's a basic basketball play. I don't know how that is expecting too much.

1. Even though the majority of our fan base agrees about mcbee for some reason ccm doesn't. Mcbee saw huge minutes last night, most of the season I think, and Woolridge had his lowest minutes in quite a few games.

2- I agree completely

3- stokes plays starters minutes, it doesn't really matter whether we start him or not he's getting the most minutes in the post besides maymon.

I guess I didn't pay enough attention to the play. I thought the guy barely hacked his arm as he was going up.

I agree with you, but McBee needs to sit on the bench and stay put. I commend him for giving it everything he has when he is out there, but he is just not good enough. He got blown by/owned 15-20 times last night which turned into at LEAST 10-12pts for GA. Not hatin, just being realistic.

Not gonna happen so don't stress yourself on it. Ccm likes mcbee for some reason, I assume the hustle and lack of by McRae.

I honestly think McRae could be they key to next season, much more than trying to find a PG. if CCM can get McRae to play with fire and intensity, and McRae improves to the player he can be that is huge. Golden can be fine at pg work on handle some and then just watch film of pg's and change your mentality. If McRae can be a 15, 6, 3 guy a night hitting 50% from field and 40% from 3 we are a much better team. Golden will get his still, Richardson lets the o come to him hopefully improves outside shot some, McRae okay great, stokes and maymon do what they do. I really think McRae could be the key to success next year, if ccm can get him to play that's huge.
