I'll be on campus during Halloween weekend to take my final exam for grad school (I hope they pass me on effort :)). Unfortunately, there's no game that week. Will there be any groups of fans during the bye hanging out watching other SEC games or do you guys just shut it down until the following week? I bumped into some fans at the Hooters across from the hotel I was staying in last time I was in Knoxville but that was during Spring practice.

I doubt there will be much going on, but I'd definitely recommend a drive through the Smokies

The best of luck to you on your final exam. :good!:

Campus is probably going to be very quiet. You might find a sports bar to watch other games in Knoxville but you won't find anything to do on campus.

I'm going to assume you only mean quiet sports wise? Even then there might be an open basketball practice. But unless things have changed dramatically in the past five years or so, the campus will be anything but quiet given what weekend it is.

You could spend a full day walking around campus just looking at all the changes, there's been so many lately! Most of it is for the better but I sure do already miss Stokely

Not a whole lot goes on when the team isn't in town or playing at all.

What used to happen on campus during non-football Fall Saturdays? Nothing a non-college aged visitor would be interested in, I imagine.

I would recommend checking out Market Square and Gay Street. There has been a lot of development in the past few years, and downtown offers plenty of restaurants and watering holes to keep you occupied. Reference the Knoxville Restaurants thread.
