Personally, I have so many dislikes, I can't share them all for the fear of posters under 18 seeing what I type.

What are your thoughts?

Here are a few of mine

DISCIPLINE!! The coaches and the University need to buy a revised version of Webster's Dictionary and look this word up.

When you suspend a player only 2 games for breaking the jaw of a fellow student in a thousand pieces, KICK HIM OFF THE TEAM!!! It's a slap in the face to that kid, his parents, and other students who would get kicked out of school for doing the same thing. Don't let hoodlums be ABOVE THE LAW!!!

QUIT CLAPPING YOUR HANDS WHEN A TEAM RUNS BACK A PUNT FOR A TOUCHDOWN, FULMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If there's one thing that makes me sick it's seeing Fulmer clapping his hands saying, "Good job, get em next time." NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Yell at the player, demote him, kick him in the ASS!!!! DON'T CLAP FOR HIM!!!!!!!!! Make them learn you MEAN BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!

QUIT RECRUITING PARTIAL QUALIFIERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they can't read and write enough to get into UT, what makes you think they're going to be able to read an essay in English Lit 101, or write an essay?

QUIT SAYING, "We're almost there. We just need an iiiiiinch more of space for Gerald to break through for a long run." An inch away is NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!! ASK THE TITANS!!!!!!!!!!!

BRING BACK THE FAT STRIPE!!!!!!!!!!!

One more before I hand it over to you guys,

Fulmer, quit saying, "Well, we had to play it as close to the vest as we could with a young quarterback. But you have to give those guys alot of credit, they played their butts off.".............THE SAME EXACT QUOTE AFTER EVERY F*&&ING GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you all think? :gun:

I think it's time for Fulmer to earn his $2 million dollar annual salary and make the hard decisions. and if he can't then let Mike Hamilton make the hard decisions.

fulmer's job may be in jepoardy unless things change.. without the 1998 national title he woudl be in a much worse situation. he may even be gone.

Hear is how you answer a Bob Keasting question, It goes like this- Bob will say, Coach it looks like the offensive line is just one step away in getting Gerald the room he needs to gain some big chunks of yardage. The response from Fulmer should be. Yea, and on Monday at practice, if they don't start opening a wider hole, I'm gonna take my foot and stick it in someone's hind parts until they learn how to open a hole. Or find someone who wants to play. I think that kind of talk would get some folks attention. That's football 101. Git-r-done or get gone.

YES SECTION!!!

PF needs to demand more. If you can't hack it, then sit on the bench and let someone else do the job. I know there are third stringers that have more heart than talent but sometimes heart is all you need (2nd half LSU).

Where is the spirit? Where is the Volunteer tradition of hard core, smashmouth football?

im sick of players not playing up to their potential. this same team looked very good last year on offense compared to thisyear. the d has made improvement but the offense has regressed.

My old ball coaches would get in face, plant a foot in my A%s, and made me a better ball player and person. I love them for that.

1.) We need a special teams coach. Someone who only coaches special teams. We currently delegate out different aspects of the special teams to several coaches, which means it is always a second priority and no one person is held accountable for special teams breakdowns. Hell, get anyone that has ever played or coached at Virginia Tech.

2.) A new offensive system and coordinator. Being ranked in the 100's in every offensive category won't get it done. I don't care whose fault it is, it's time for a change.

3.) A new offensive line coach, simply because we haven't been very physical since Mike Barry left. Jimmy Ray Stephens was the OL coach at Florida under Spurrier, and it shows. We're better pass blockers than rush blockers. We need to get back to being a nasty and tough line.

4.) Much more discipline and mental toughness. Fulmer is obviously the good cop, but we need a bad cop.

5.) We need to develop our talent better. It seems that other teams (Alabama, Auburn, Va Tech) all do a lot more with their talent than we do.

6.) For some reason, we can never ever stop anyone on 3rd down, and especially on third and long. This has been the case as long as Chief has been DC. We look like the best D in the country on 1st and 2nd down, then we give up a big pass play on 3rd and 12 or whatever. Obviously this doesn't happen every time, but it certainly appears that it happens to us more than most teams. We seem to play very soft on third downs.

Amen Brother!
I would modify this a bit....

"Yea, and on Monday at practice, if they don't start opening a
wider hole, I'm gonna take my foot and stick it in someone's
hind parts until they learn how to open a hole." If they
can't learn how to open a hole, I plan on scheduling walk-on
tryouts for Monday afternoon. I have learned through
experience that statistics does not amount to much if a player
does not have heart. I would rather have a bunch of walk-ons
that can play as a team than a bunch of pampered
super-stars.

I would like to be able to read PF's lips on the telecast and see him saying some of those words that Jason can't type b/c of the under-18's. Naturally, I'd also like to see somebody backhand RS with a helmet.

Hey, while I'm wishing, I'd like to be able to actually watch our special teams play instead of hiding my face and peeking through my fingers during those plays.
