Remember when Auburn beat us with Cadilac and Brown?
We just played Mcfadden and Jones and they are also very talented pair. We all know we are the colts when it comes to stopping the run. We have a backup QB with no game time experience, so what should we expect from these facts. My two cents

We should expect the staff to have the team ready to play, even if all that it results in is losing with dignity. Fulmer already said he did not get the team ready to play Arky. You can be an appologist and say he's just being nice and taking a bullet for the team or you can take him at his word and accept the fact that he is not doing his job.

Playing a backup freshman QB is a huge issue, but while he hasn't been consistent in keeping the offense on the field, he also hasn't put the defense in a lot of short field situations. LSU and Arkansas kept going 70 yards on us.

Mustang?? Heck, after Saturday night, I WISH we could get in a down and distance to actually play Nickel defense. In the 2nd quarter, I don't think Arkansas had more than 1 or 2 3rd downs.

It was just like the LSU game, they were getting 8 or 9 yards a down when they weren't getting 35.

That drove me crazy. Monk going up to make a catch over a DB is one thing. Waltzing down the field with nothing but open space around him was another.

Knowing the pain in the butt that Arkansas' running game was going to be, you'd think that they would have at least concentrated on shutting their only receiver down.

Is Monk related to Art Monk?

It was hard to believe how often Wade got burned in man coverage against Monk. He just couldn't handle him physically.

It is true that Wade leads SEC in passing defense. I dont' want to throw the stone to Wade just after one game. But just as I said, Wade gave up too much many plays, and got beaten up by the those wide receivers.

I think Wade is a ok corner back, who made some big plays, but also gave up some huge plays which really hurt us.

But what I am worried about is, Wade is already our best corner, and he will graduate. What about next year? I can't even imagine...

by the way, our inept defensive line just failed to do anything at the line scrimmage. If we give a quarterback that much time, even a high school quarterback should complete those passes.

Same thing we kept saying as we watched the game. You know he's throwing to Monk!!!! Wade got burned all night.

I heard someone say Monk is Art Monk's son? Not sure about this though.
