Hart and Strong reach an agreement but DH tells him that the announcement needs to wait until after Fulmer's induction so they don't steal his thunder.

Make sense to anybody besides me?

GO VOLS!! and ND!!

I think that's pretty much the conventional wisdom right now - if there's any such thing in this process.

Where there is fire, there is smoke. So far there is no fire, just smoke!

I think a lot of what is happening is smoke and mirrors to delay an announcement until the 17th or 18th of Dec. I may be wrong, but there just seems to be a lot of nothing happening. That would indicate to me there is a reason for the delay rather than a cause for worry. Charlie Ergen, Jim Haslam, and others have suddenly entered the cone of silence, too. They know what's happening.

No, that does not make sense to me. Strong is not going to be our next coach. He is using U.T. to get a raise at his current job...

The only time you will see Strong at U.T. will be when he is the coach of the opposing team that we are playing.

is named HC at UT, i`ll vomit all over myself and on anyone standing close to me.

A university like TN cannot be this desperate.

You must be the one that vomited on my seats before I got there for the Mizzou game.

Jackass.

(I kid. Well, not about the vomiting--that really happened.)

Louisville is a lot easier gig that Tennessee and the SEC and he probably got the raise in pay he wanted and so why not stay and make the easy money. Coaching in the SEC is tough your playing awesome teams every week and for most schools 8 and 4 or 9 and 3 seasons are unacceptable. You really earn your money in the SEC, but if you can win it there is a pride of accomplishment that no other conference can even come close to offering.
