Didn't realize the SEC schedule was out for 14 already.

Well, I like that the UF game was moved back to Oct. 4, but late November would have been better.

That won't happen with them having to play FSU at the end of the month. (I presume you're suggesting you want them where the Missouri game is placed)

We're already going back to Ole Miss just four years later, when there's seven teams in the West, and we only play two of them, with one of them permanent.

WTH? The KY-Tenn game is now Nov. 15???
Then, who does KY end its season with? WKU? Troy? LOL

You're right.
In a more perfect world, I'd like to see the UF-FSU game moved to September, so we can both end the season with a major divisional rival (and get cold weather at Neyland).

Notable change:

LSU-Arkansas is now no longer the last game of the season. LSU will end the season by playing A&M while Arkansas will end the season playing Missouri.

(Speaking of the former, this is supposed to be the first season of Arkansas-South Carolina and A&M-Missouri being switched around as permanent rivals, with Arky now playing Missouri at the season's end and South Carolina and A&M possibly playing near the start of conference play)

That would make sense, but that game is always played to open the season when it's at UofL and the third game when it's at UK.

They've recently pushed/asked/decided for it to be a finale game

Louisville Cardinals, Kentucky Wildcats move matchup to finale - ESPN

he annual rivalry game between Louisville and Kentucky will move to the final week of the regular season beginning in 2014, the schools announced Wednesday.

Though Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich prefers the teams to continue to play at the start of the season, the decision was made at the request of both the SEC and ACC.

"I have been a huge proponent that the game should be played as the first game every year," Jurich said in a statement. "I'm disappointed that it will not be our opening game in the future, but most importantly, we will continue to play the game. We'll support the move at the request of both conferences and we are very excited about our future in the ACC. I'm sure that fans across the Commonwealth will be pleased to see the series continue."

When the series was renewed in 1994 after a 70-year break, the game was played to open the season for 12 of the next 13 years. This year, the two teams meet Sept. 14 in Lexington.

Next year, they will play on Nov. 29, 2014.

"There's great excitement surrounding Louisville's move into the ACC and we look forward to when they are able to compete as conference members," ACC commissioner John Swofford said in a statement. "The storied rivalry between Louisville and Kentucky is an important part of the tradition and history of both institutions and we appreciate being able to showcase that game on the final weekend of the season along with the other inter-conference rivalries between the ACC and SEC."

The late-season shift will increase to four the number of ACC vs. SEC intrastate rivalry matchups on the final weekend of the regular season, joining Florida State-Florida, Georgia Tech-Georgia and Clemson-South Carolina.

Kentucky holds a 14-11 advantage in the series, but the Cardinals have an 11-8 edge since the series renewal in 1994.

Thanks.
And, that makes sense, given the other in-state ACC/SEC rivalries.
I'd rather see everyone play a divisional rival at the end of the year though. But, at least they're trying to keep some traditions alive.

You'll be seeing a mix of both conference rival and non-conference play.

On the non-conference, major in-state rival end you'll see UK-UL, UF-FSU, USCe-Clemson, UGA-Ga Tech

On the conference end, you'll see LSU-A&M and Arkansas-Missouri

And in between, as a mix of both, you'll see games like UT-Vandy, Mississippi-Mississippi State, Alabama-Auburn

I know.
It'll be a good weekend of football.

I don't expect it to ever happen, but I'd rather see Tenn-Fla, UGA-SCar, and UK-VU on the final weekend. Keep Mizzou-Arky, Bama-AU, Miss-MSU, and LSU-TAMU.
