thus the reason many bands move to a formation then play. Looking at you, <cough> <cough> Bama's so-called million dollar band.

would be nice if the Pride of the Southland could do something like this...ya know to show how Palardy how its done....I keed I keed:eek:lol:

My only knock on UT's band is they don't add much to the in-game experience.

UF's band is below average as far as marching bands go, but they do a great job of keeping the crowd involved in between plays with the Jaws, Go Gators and Gator Bait chants.

Agree. As a Vol fan and past member of the POTSB, the Pride's between plays playing should rank us very low. UF, Bama, LSU, etc.. play some quick bit between every play and as you said, keeps the crowd into it. UT plays only at time outs and maybe a quick Rocky Top blurb if we're lucky.

Important question.... Was the kick good?!?! Hard to tell with the uprights slightly off screen and the kick so high! :)

Why not do something REALLY different? Like maybe some Henry Mancini music (without the lyrics):

Go retro, wayyyyyy retro. You'd probably get the blue hairs up and shaking it if you did.

Maybe pick and choose from other music from Peter Gunn. Mancini was one cool dude and using his music would be something that's really different. Tennessee should be setting trends, not following them. OK, traditionalist fire and launch away:
