:good!:Exactly right I was the proudest during the usc jr. loss than
any other time all year. We showed more class during that horrific injury than I have seen from our team in a long time. Seems like we were the ones their showing Marcus support and love even before his own team got there. I feel we have had some very special players give more the last few years than some of the coaches did. Seems to be getting corrected hopefully. :clapping:

I do not understand why you specify that we need football players like this. We need more human beings like this.... just not football players!

I case you haven't noticed, this is a football recruiting forum. Seems to me the post was perfectly appropriate for the forum it was posted in.

Oh I am certainly not refuting the post as such. This is a good-hearted football player and the news can be here. I was just asking the question, why can't more people be like this and why just restrict it to football players. :hi:

I want a recruits like Trent Richardson or Jadaveon Clowney. All seriousness aside, that is very cool and a class move.

There is a guy who plays for La tech who did that last year....he played in high school for either Smyrna or Lavergne.

A kid with that kinda character should be commended but that doesn't mean I want him on my football team. If hes an elite athlete and has world class speed, then that's the kinda recruit I want. I don't know the average age of this board but I'm old enough to remember the 90's and early 2000's Vols that were competing for the SEC and NC every year. Bammer, UF and LSU are your national champions the last six years or so and Bammer is playing for it all again this year. Check where their classes ranked.

We have several kids that would do this, but haven't had bowl game gifts to share in a while

I wouldn't watch UT football at all if I didn't wanna see my team win. Obviously, I want the 5* everyone wets their pants over, but if I can have it my way, I want them to have solid morals too. If I wanted to watch people sing together and hug, I'd watch something on Lifetime tv. If I wanted to watch a bunch of dope head gangbangers act like fools, I'd watch pretty much anything else on TV. It's just nice to see student athletes that win and lead by example.

I wonder what a team full of Eric Berrys , Marcus Lattimores and Tim Tebows would do, nah they're too soft .
