Darn, Tony's not even a cup caliber crew chief. Oh well, I guess the step up in equipment should make up for the move

Not surprising, however I wish it wasnt so... I like that Eury Jr and Dale Jr are so close but at times it seems theyre too close, they fight like brothers over the radio and obviously it hasnt worked well as of late...Eury Sr was a great crew chief and Eury Jr should be thankful thats his dad, bc thats the only reason Eury Jr has a job... Darian Grubb (sp?) did great when he stepped in to be Johnsons crew chief for a few races and he has done a good job with Mears (as far as using good strategies with a less-than-average driver) I would have liked to see what Grubb could have done with Jr, but I guess blood is thicker than water :ermm:

Jr's best performances and his best cars have come with Eury Jr at crew chief... had to make that move.

what's going to happen to Gustofson? i'd take him over Grub in a heartbeat. i wouldn't even need to be asked if i wanted him over the stiff Eury Jr.

Gustafson is stayin with the 5 so hell be with mears... I agree, I like Gustafson

looks like were in for another year of extremely high expectations, underachieving results, constant bickering on the scanner, terrible pit strategies, and more "wait til next year".... hopefully Hendrick will keep Grubb around and will figure out Eury Jr sucks and eventually replace him with Grubb :good!:
