Maybe they will wake up now and start playing UT basketball. Right now they do not deserve to be a Top 25 team. We have played a weak schedule and have been winning games with defense and our depth.

We have serious issues including:

1. Half court offense - it's pathetic
2. Three point shooting - we can buy one
3. Poor FT shooting - do they practice FT's????
4. Shot selection - our shooters won't shoot and our non-shooters shoot too much
5. Substitution patterns - we play too many players and pull our starters before they can get into the game flow.

This is all fixable and they are better than this. It's time for CBP to shorten the rotation and end this wreckless style of play.

I admire your optimism, but all of the things you listed have been issues since #5 graduated (and in some cases before then).

Pearl obviously does not think any of these issues are problems even though ever Tennessee fan with half an ounce knowledge of basketball does because he refuses to work to improve any of them.

Way to keep a glass half full view though, we need that around here.

I honestly don't mean anything by this, but how old are you ?

I thought the loss to Purdue was supposed to be the best thing that could happen?

I've never understood this logic. Good teams win.

That's because it's stupid logic. It's someone grasping at straws to find a positive.

And what really chaps me is the is the same post that's made the last 2 years after this team lays an egg. How many stinkin' "wake up calls" does this team need?

Hmm. I was kind of waiting for a 30 point home loss to Kansas to wake up the team but by judging their actions on the court, I seriously doubt they even care. Very selfish IMO

I'm afraid we'll all see what a good loss this was to a terrible, terrible team on selection Sunday.

No way. The pac-10 might get 2 or 3 teams at best in. No way is USC one of them. They are very weak. Vegas stole everybodies money tonight
