This loss was very Dooley like

So was Florida, UGA, Bama, UM, Oregon, and AU. I haven't seen a thing in any of those losses that I would've have expected from Dooley.

Don't bail now...the best is yet to come...I know we've heard it before but just keep in mind that if Butch can keep this incoming class. Just saying!

Very very bad coaching tonight....sucked. And I don't get it. What the hell was he thinking?

This was VERY much like the Dooley years. These kids - and, believe me, I love them and this tea - hav a loser mentality so deeply ingrained in their hearts that it isn't going to change any time soon.

Plus, the polish is gone from this coaching staff. That is what we get to watch? With a week off to prepare?

Dobbs isn't the answer. His GPA might be great but his football smarts are non-existent. Unless he gets a new arm, he won't start next year over whatever walk-on shows up off frat row.

Ok, ok, maybe I'm exaggerating but this was awful. That SC win was a fluke. They lost the game. We didn't win it. Spurrier gave us a gift and we somehow managed to not fumble it away (as is our usual pattern).

Florida having their worst season since 1979 and us STILL getting destroyed by them says it all. We won't beat FLorida again in my lifetime. I've become convinced of that.

This is Mike Hamilton's legacy. I hope that scum sucker is in pain right now.

They had no faith in Dobbs throwing. Too bad since all Vandy's starting backs left the game.

He learned a Dooley maxim tonight. If there is time on the clock and you think you just iced away a win, there is enough time for the refs to take it all away. No possible video evidence of ball placement and in no way irrefutable. The line judge made the call and we got hosed. Although in no way did we deserve to win.

Nice guy. Motivates players. Appears to be a leader (meaning people seem to want to follow him). Can somehow recruit although that remains to be seen. BUT he's not an X's and O's guy. Runs a high school office and a no-risk defense. Surrounds himself with coaches less smart then him and he himself is in a position way over his head. Not the sharpest tool in the shed. The sad thing is Vol Nation will have to wait until 2015 until we can roll the dice again.

I'm not going to ***** about that first down overrule. I knew when I saw the lineman walking up to spot the ball that he was screwing Vandy. That spot was at least a third of a yard off--and we got a lot of calls on replays.

The way we lost did remind me of Dooley.

It bothered me that Jones didn't get fired up all night. He coached his a@# off against uga and usce. He looked like he was hoping not to lose instead of showing confidence. He seemed beat down also.
