This nut predicts UGA will lose to Boise St.

It will be a good game. I am all-out rooting for Boise State to win, because I think it would be great, but I realistically see Georgia winning by around 10.

It's not that far fetched. With all the new personnel at UGA and with it being the opener, you never know.

Hopefully for me with a different outcome.

Serna broke my heart that day :( That would have been Oregon State' biggest win in over 30 years.

Granted this game could be scary as hell. They are a great team with talented coaches but, I just dont think BSU is deep enough to beat us. I say we pull away at the end of the 3rd and win by 17.

I think yall win by more than that. The O-Line will man handle those kids that play on blue turf. Boise will give fits to UGA but I see a 49-25 type of game. 2 late td's make it look worse than it was.

It does no good for us for UGA to lose to Boise. As much as I would like to laugh at the dawg fans, we need every team to be as highly ranked as possible when we play them. While SOS may not be as big a factor anymore, perception of wins is a big factor. Kiddiedoc has it right, we need to cheer for the SEC. Well, except for bammer. If they go 0-11, that would be great.

That's a tough opening for sure but I think that UGA will pull it out. The only thing that could hurt UGA is Shockley having a bad game. They have enough talent in the backfield to make up for and average game by Shockley though.

I say UGA cakewalks over Boise St and wins by at least 20.

I disagree...This game will be offensive and if it comes down to that, I believe that Boise State has the edge.....Because its a big game in another conference, what do they have to lose? They could go all out and pull all the stops....The guy that said Boise State will be UGA could be very right....UGA won't be too good this year, I don't think..Could be wrong and you could be right, it could be a cake walk for the Dawgs but I don't see it coming...If UGA wins this one, it could/should be a tight one

BSU gets killed in this game.

Yes, KILLED.

Spare me the BSU offense garbage. They finally played a decent defense and got SHUT DOWN against Louisville. Not even 300 yards of total offense. Why did they score 40 points? Because of several turnovers ridiculously close to their own goalline.

BSU's D is terrible and replacing several starters.

Their OL is average and their QB had average stats last year....some even thought he would lose his job after his 2 INT/1 TD performance against Tulsa......TULSA!!

Give me a break, another 41-14 beating will happen...thats the score Arkansas beat them 2 years ago

The problem here is that either way it will stink. If UGA blows them out (which could happen) all we will hear is how great they are (until we pound them). If by some freaky accident BSU wins then they will catapult way too high. So, since we do get to beat UGA this year and since ESPN will be calling Richt the next coming for beating the "GREAT" smurf turf boys. I want UGA to pound them, so when we take it to UGA and SMOKEY makes their little pooch his girlfriend it will be even sweeter.

GO VOLS!

If UGA kills BSU, it will show how over-rated BSU is...not how great UGA is

That's exactly the problem w/ playing the mid-major teams. It turns into a no-win situation for the favorite. There is no way Boise wins more than 5 games with UGA's schedule. However, it is very easy for them to get up for 1 or 2 big games every season. It's a huge risk for the major conf. teams to take and many just shy away. I can't really blame them either.

U-T I wish that were true. But I know how much the media loves the "great" mid majors and how Richt is a media darling. You watch and see. This is a now lose situation for many sports writers. All BSU has to do is make it close. Then UGA and BSU win.

BS. If anything Richt is under-rated in the media's eyes.He isn't on Mandel's list nor is he ever on anyones top list really. I think Finebaum gave him some props but that is rarely it

Hey, Fade, I love that picture of UGA going for the player. That is hilarious. And I have a picture where he is grabbing the flag of one of the flag girls on the field.

Have you seen the movie, "Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil"?

My old U.T. roommate was president of the Savannah Chamber of Commerce when all that stuff was going on.

UGA started a lil slow against GSU last yr and I expect the same start with fewer veterens. BSU will give them a scare..but UGA has too much and pulls it out by 7.
