In that we will have grea young talent that will rise to the occasion and play lights out some games and then get smoked in others, I look for is to be a major upset worthy team next season because of our talents unpredictability due to age.

Not a bad path to follow...I think Butch gets us there quicker though :happy:

There are some impact players coming back. I see the similarities but Tennessee will be in a better situation next year than Ole Miss is in this year.

Just an update on the Vols recruiting team rankings:

Rivals- #2
Scouts- #1
247 sports- #2
ESPN- #3 ( but doesn't have Hendrix listed as a commit yet, not to anyone's surprise)

It was glorious times, but spoiled a lot of us. I remember days of being pissed off by not being preseason ranked in the top ten and looking at schedules thinking if we get by Florida, we have a real shot at going undefeated.

Our 2014 class should blow OM 2013 class out of the water & it was very good! Can't wait to get 2-3 of Butch's classes on the field. We will be feared!

Their class was stronger at the top than ours is, but ours is much deeper. The depth of this huge class is astounding. Gives those low three stars a chance to actually develope into contributors rather than be thrown in early

I never want to be compared to ole miss,,,,, I see what the op is saying,,,,, but I live about a 30 minutes from Oxford and have to hear their crap all the time,,,,, Butch has us going in the right direction,,,,, and I pray for a TN WIN next year over the rebels or black bears or whatever their name is

Will be in a better situation. Blair was a big commit for Oline and Lambert was big for DL. I see AJ coming back and a healthy Maggot at LB and will have our entire secondary back with new people coming in. Finally quality depth....and all of our WRs.
