No we didnt. Barnett, unfortunately never had a shot at any major award. College football and the media were creaming themselves over guys like Allen, Garret and Peppers all season. Our season had nothing to do with Barnett getting royally screwed. Theses awards are based largely on popularity, not production.

Case in point, if Barnett had the same production while playing for Alabama, he would have been a Heisman finalist and ran away with defensive awards like Allen did.
