Every single day I read something that makes me believe in these guys more and more. I freely admit that when I first saw all these guys from UC/UCM I was extremely disappointed, even angry. Looks like I was 100% wrong on them. I cant wait to see what they can do with some real time to build relationships.

Agreed, it isnt' even about ending up offerning and signing all the players in state, it is showing continued interest in every program accross the state and giving their players a shot.

That way when the big timers come around their coaches will pump up TN and not send them to the evil empires down south.

I really thought with Butch Jones being hired too late in recruiting that this year recruits were going to not be up to par and that it would take a year or so to build relationships with the kids. But the more i read the more i think coach Jones will pull off something real good for Tennessee this year. The other night when he took all his defense coaches to Vonn Bell's house. Bet that left a impression on that young man and how bad they want him at Tennessee.

Yes, this staff definitely wants to be here and considers it a priviledge to rep UT. Very refreshing. With this type of mindset, only good things can happen. Very refreshing.

Maybe, but is Beyonce the bigger joke for lip syncing the national anthem - not at the Super Bowl but at the inauguration of all places!

I don't think that you can down grade Butch on this signing class, and that if it goes well it only makes him look that much better, but if it is not good I honestly feel that it is because he did not have enough time to salvage it. So in reality he can only win or stay even on signing day.

Here's to hoping that he wins big. :toast:

This is just an honest view of it and not meant to be one bit critical.

On a side note can we have the loco smiley removed as it only really brings back bad memories at this time?

Luginbill on CFB live names Tennessee his team to look out for At the finish line. Says Jones is showing he will be a big time recruiter for not only the close of this yr but in the future. Says he has us in on some big time guys down the stretch.

Do they get it or r they just doing what every coach does except dools? I really don't think they doing anything that bama n gators etc are not doing... Do u?
Most tn kids love tn especially east tn so yes its good to see them doing some basic recruiting in their home state...

What's sad is that this makes us excited because dools sucked n kept everything a secret like he was doing something special

This appears to be a hard working staff and hard work usually pays off. If they can get just one big name recruit in the next couple of days, I believe there will be a domino effect with several more to follow. I'm expecting positive results on NSD which will translate to positive results on the field.

Agreed. It feels good to have a staff that has so much energy and excitement about our program again. While Kiffin stabbed us in the back and it still pains me to this day, I loved the excitement and swagger he brought to our program. I see a lot of that in CBJ and this staff, without the drama and shadiness Kiffin brought. I am loving it. I can't wait to see what this staff does with this next years recruiting class and the following ones. I'm thinking, hoping, he's going to do big things here....

This staff is really busting their gonads to make up a lot of lost relationships with players all over the nation. With last year's staff, I don't see any of the top recruits even looking at us, but now we have several top recruits looking at us. I like that.

I know that we have better facilities, tradition, etc. but was this staff able to recruit 4 or 5 star players to Cincy?
