In case you missed it, Butch stated at approximately the 1:15 mark of the post-game media session (http://www.volnation.com/forum/tennessee-vols-football/204688-ut-postgame-videos-uga-game.html) that "this team has become closer than any team I've been a part of!" While some might dismiss that observation sarcastically as "coachspeak," think of the team chemistry that will have been forged once Butch's players have been in his system 2-3 years. The Big Orange are slowly beginning to rise up and reassume their rightful place in the world of college football.

I haven't seen this team quit yet. That is the Difference between Dooley and Butch. The Kids quit on Dooley but they love Butch and his staff to much to quit on them. We are very Very lucky to have Butch. He is the Real Deal

I loved that statement. They will play their heart out for each other. (Showed that tonight)

By this point in the past two seasons, the team was beginning to quit. Not this year! If anything, the effort gets better week by week.

The way the team never quit and how they were on the sidelines(the bench was PUMPED) impressed me today. Definitely didn't see that the last few years.

A self-fulfilling prophecy is slowly beginning to manifest itself in the form of growing confidence expressed by Butch in his team and vice versa. When asked about the three fourth-down conversions, Justin stated essentially that it meant a lot to the team that Butch had confidence in them to execute in those situations, particularly so deep in their own territory, which, in turn, fueled their desire to prove his faith to be well-founded.

The coach showing trust in his players means the players will play their butts off for the coach. It's so refreshing.

In all the yrs of watching TN football I couldn't be more proud of these guys with the effort and heart they played with today. These young men left it all on the field today. I am proud as hell to be a TN VOL!

So much of his philosophy, approach, and mannerism reminds me of how Pearl resurrected the basketball team. These guys just love to play for him.

We get that number two class signed and recruit another class similar to that one Tennessee will rise to the top under Butch. I'm ready for some titles and think we have the man who will get us there.
