We do look bad. Our line is way over pursuing the qb. They are running 6 or 8 yards buyond the qb in the backfield. AJ is one of my favorite player because his motor never stops but his downfall is the terrible angle he takes. We all know our db's are not where they need to be. This is embarrassing.

And that was BEFORE the unpredictable surge of mizzou and auburn. Just don't have the bodies to keep up with everyone yet. 6-6 will not be a failure with this schedule and this young team.

I think they are still waiting at the airport. I have yet to see our defense play 2 solid games in a row. Our secondary is nowhere to be found. Butch better be recruiting some corners for next year. Why in heck are they playing 10 yards off? I just dont get it. And now our line is getting beat up on run plays. My God hit someone and make it sting a little, square up and tackle stop trying for the strip or arm tackle and hit them square and knock them down.

Butch will start his postgame comments/press conference/coaches show with "This is unacceptable at Tennessee." He keeps saying that, then the team keeps right on playing that way. This is the worst yet, because we had a real shot in this game and we're giftwrapping them the W. Oregon and Bama, notsomuch.

Yes. The lack of competitive fight is the real problem. I expected more fight out of this team. It's like after the SC upset they've said their goal for the year is done and now we can quit! That's on the coaches.

We beat a USCe team we had no business beating. What exactly are looking for in us 'overachieving' because that fits the bill.

Getting blown out and looking like the Keystone Cops against Ore, FL, AL, and now Mizzou, especially Mizzou, is NOT overachieving. Playing competitive and still losing would be overachieving.

Yeah we suck. 5-7. Damn. And I can't be full Butch anymore. I think he will get it done but I know longer KNOW he will. If we can beat South Carolina we should be able to at least hang with Mizzou. Sorry.

I kind of had a feeling we would have the seniors lead us to lay down, per normal. If Butch had more younger players he could bench them all.

We did against SC. If we'd hired a Gruden there may have been a few instant impact elite skill players to commit who may have made a difference. That didn't happen so it's brick by brick, for now.

I can't possibly imagine nor believe that we're not the worst tackling team in college football. This team, it saddens me to say, has regressed significantly since the SCar game. It's on everybody.... we play defense now like a Sal Sunseri coached team. This is embarrassing.

because we can't pass intermediate routes or deep routes consistently. The defenses are attacking the run gaps with no regard for the passing game .

If it was as easy as 'just run the ball' ...nobody would ever pass. This is why you see the best teams and NFL teams for the most part striving for a balanced offense. Good passing lends itself to good running and vice versa
