A waste of talent.
I'm not freaking out and calling the season over.
But, what Pearl is getting out of these guys is pathetic.

Sometimes it takes a good beat down to get the team to pull together. Time will tell.

I think it is a combination. These guys are overhyped. Could it be true that Lofton and J SMith were the whole team. No sense of urgency. Basketball IQ of this team is remedial at best. How many missed free throws today?

I'm still trying to figure out how a Pearl coached team achieved a number 1 ranking. I suppose it's appropriate that we lost it a week later.

I think the sun and the girls got to the players in southern California. They play like they're on vacation.

It sure seems that way. I mean the fans are in full melt down. I haven't watched any TN BB this year. I just turned this game on. Seen 30 sec's of it and agree they look awful, but come on guys, teams can turn it around. Wasn't it just last season that Pearl was a God here? I know he's had his detractors and no one is going to like every coach. but my goodness, lets just forfeit the rest of the season.

This has been the same problem since he got here, getting dominated by other teams point guard, can't score in the half court and too many bad 3s.

Just calling it like I see it. Our play is pathetic. I'm not going to sit here and sugarcoat it. Our defense is atrocious and our offense isn't much better. We are an average team at best. No way on this earth are we the 9th best team in the country. 100% overrated.

Ok good assessment, like I said I haven't really watched any. I'll go with what you and others have said.

Hopefully they can turn it around. It's not like TN is know for being a BB school.

1. Hold up their hands and cry who me?
2. Slap hands after another missed free throw.

Well Swiperboy (aka Renaldo), Hall, and Goins all managed to hang out with their families while in So Cal and Swiperboy even got his hair done all fancy for the game, maybe they should have spent more time focusing on the game or practicing...something. It's nice to spend time with family but not if you're gonna be this unprepared afterwards.
