I noticed that as well. When this team is on the road, they look like a JV team. We've gotta get over that crap.

Maybe next year Butch can schedule all home games. Until Butch gets a DC that it worth a d&mn Tn will not be able to stop any decent team. I know , I know Jancek don't have his players but it still won't matter. I never liked the Jancek hire from day one. Ga fans could not wait until Richt got rid of him and Martinez and lucky us , they both end up here. Now I see why they could not wait.

I've noticed this too. this comes from having to play so many freshmen and soph. with so little experience. they seem intimidated on the road.

Are you serious? Our D is both untalented and was poorly developed by Dooley (yet we are still vastly improved from last year). Honestly, any expectations that out defense would be much better than mediocre this year were unreasonable.

still better than Sunseri. But yeah, our defense was a disappointment last night. Our offense was a disappointment last night. Everything was a disappointment last night.

And another thing, Jancek plays too much frickin zone coverage and doesn't blitz enough for my taste.

You cant rush 4 all night and expect to get consistent pressure on a QB. Hell, we got destroyed by two freshmen QBs this year.

I can only surmise that our coaching staff is not SEC quality. Why, simply because they did not turn our remaining roster from last years debacle [ minus all skill players we lost] into a top 20 team just by showing up in Knoxville. What's up with that?

He doesn't have a choice, man. Our speed on D is barely enough to play zone, let alone man. Agreed on the blitzing, though. Would like to see more of the Vereen Machine getting up in some QB's grills.

Yea him and Martinez had better players at Ga when Tn and every other SEC team was hanging 40-50 points on them. That's why him and Martinez got ran out of Ga because they , he, him are good
