good news.... we're still in the tourney. Bracketology - NCAA College Basketball Brackets and Predictions - ESPN

Im confused however as to how we are a projected 10 seed... Florida is a 5 seed... Georgia is a 10 seed... KY a 3, Vandy a 6. Who has Vandy and Florida beaten to deserve such higher seeds?

Also, Lunardi has 11 Big East teams in the tourney and touts the strength of the Big east... that logic is counter productive to us be a 10 seed since we've beat Uconn and Pitt.. am I not right?

Lundardi is usually good at predicting who will get in. He's not so great at predicting seeds outside of 1s and 2s.

I don't think Ohio State will remain a 1 seed, I think we'll be a 12-9 ish seed if we make it

BCS conference teams don't get below 10 seeds. Mid-major/minor's conference tourney champs usually fill in all the higher seeds. There are an occasional exception or two, but not very often. It's not who the other SEC teams have beaten(although UF did beat Izzo) it is who we have lost to that is killing us

I've only followed the tourney since 2007 and can name more than an occasional exception. For example, Georgia, Kentucky, Nova, Baylor, Kansas State etc. were sub 10 seeds in 2008 alone.

We should have 18 wins at the end of the regular season. When we win two games in the SEC tournament, we will have 20 wins and will get in. From there, we need to get hot at the right time and take the "Us against the World attitude"
