THIS WEEK'S INJURY REPORT

He has shoulder surgery and has never quite recovered completely. He gets better, then takes a shot and gets set back again. He and Lewis are each great backs. Seldon probably tried to take contact too soon and we’re paying for it.
There are some positives coming from it, though. For one, DeSean Bishop has absolutely risen to the occasion as RB2. Also, Dylan Sampson has been a warrior and has shown he can carry the load mostly by himself. Finally, getting Peyton Lewis meaningful snaps in relief of Sampson both allows Bishop to get healed up and prepares him to take on the bigger role next year.

Yeah. Very true.

They need to mix in Keith a little. He doesn’t have the speed as the other guys be he can move and he’s never had the chance to run behind the 1st team o-line.

Keith is a bruiser on short yardage plays too. Hope we get Bishop back healthy soon.

There is a reason Keith has never seen snaps aside from blowouts and why a true freshman quickly passed him in the pecking order.

Man, we are devastatingly thin at RB
I can definitely think of worse.

2016, we were down to two RBs on scholarship. guys who started the year #3, and #4 on the roster.
2024 we are down to three RBs on scholarship, guys who started the year #1, #4, #5. we are in a much better place now.

that was the year that Hurd quit during a game. then Kamara got hurt, and then we had to play a second year sophmore Kelly. only guy after Kelly was true freshman CFA, Carlin Fils Aime who I don't think had any stats going into the #2 role.

we still have our 1, and the backups have more experience than we did back then. probably more talent too, at least with Lewis.

If Seldon is hurt or not 100%, why doesn't he show up in the injury reports as probable, doubtful, or out?

Seriously ??? Heupel puts out the base minimum on ALL injury reports. That’s not going to change
Yes, seriously. The conference has already stated, no shenanigans with these injury reports will be tolerated. If he's available to play, why isn't he playing?
