Same can be said for most other teams. There isn’t a dominant team rt now.

It's not just losing to KY. It's hitting 4-14 FTs. One jump shot in the 1st half. I would have dropped them further due to that. My guess is a lot of the voters didn't know the details of the game. I guess that Indiana guy did

You kinda argue your own point to drop them here. If anything, these stats show that the shooting from the line and first half was somewhat fluke-ish. If we shot that bad nightly, we wouldn’t have a single win.

I’ll take #11 @ this point as it’s been a rough month.
for our Vols. @ this point, I’m not too concerned about the rest of the regular season or winning the conf championship. Here is what I hope occurs to help this team make a run in March.

1. Finish 2-2 down the stretch, preferably 3-1.

2. JJJ & Phillips get healthy, close to 100%by SEC tourney.

3. Win one or two in the SEC tourney to build momentum, allowing JJJ and Phillips to knock off the rust. Also gives Mashack time to gel, as he may see more minutes.

4. TN receives a four seed for “the dance.”

5. A well rested TN team comes out with a chip in its shoulders and begins playing their best ball.

I agree. I’m saying 4/whatever from the foul line and 19 first half points is not the norm, however bad we are on offense.

I think we go 3-1 over our last four regular season games with the only loss being at Auburn where we historically have trouble getting a dub.

Details… You mean not having two 5️ 6’6” and 6’8” athletic defenders on the bench? I guess the Indiana guy didn’t have all the details imho.

We've beaten 3 top ten teams and the closest game was 9 points. Lost to the #3 team on the road by 5. We deserve to be where we are. We need JJJ and Phillips back. Can we win without them? Yes. Can we win consistently without them? No.

It's not the norm but it's happened enough that we are prone to it

Or that voter might believe that you are who (the players you put on the court) you play. If we get those guys back and we pick it up then we can can be raised in the polls accordingly
