This Week's Trap...

Memphis has much, much bigger problems than UT does right now.

Both teams will more than likely miss the tourney and that is the only thing that matters. Although i do think Pastner is in over his head and our coach maybe on the way out, dont know what is worse.

Will Pastner get another year as coach, or is he run out?
Good trap.

Can you get value in return for Melo?

I'm a great believer in the theory that the team who gets the best player always wins the trade in the NBA. That said, if the deal with Jersey goes through, the Nuggets can come out alright. Favors, a bunch of first round picks, and whatever they get when they around and trade Devin Harris added to whatever they can round up with their cap room is a good start. If they manage to force someone into taking Al Harrington's ridiculous contract, they are well on their way to recovery.

Good points. As a former hawks season ticket holder, I got a nice chuckle when I heard reports that Al Harrington was holding up the deal.

In a league littered witn jerks and knuckleheads, Harrington is one of the truly bad guys.

There is no way Denver keeps 'Melo. After seeing what has happened to Cleveland, they have to get something in return.

BTW, it's amazing how one game in a 82 game schedule can change the season. Before Dec. 2, the Cavs were in the fight for the 8 spot. LeBron comes in, rips their hearts out, and they are done.
