This Week's Trap...

Good read Hat.

I'm not sure what's going to happen Saturday, but either way its going to be epic. Tickets up in the rafters, top row in the "endzone", are no less than $300.00 a piece. Rupp will be off the hinges, win or lose.

Yeah, I agree. I thought UConn would provide it, because of their experienced guard play. And it definitely was a challenge.

However with the hype of this game, being the rivalry it is, these kids might be so geeked up that they can't focus.

Louisville shoots the three as good as anyone in the country, especially when hot. We have been terrible defending the three. Terrible.

Louisville (more specifically Pitino), always has a sound and fundamental press. Sure Bledsoe and Wall are fast, but they have yet to really face a competent full court press. Bledsoe for all his talents, treats the basketball like a hot potato at times.

Its a scary game. I think UK could make one of those first half runs like they did against NC and UConn and put this game away by 20.

Louisville could also shoot them out of the gym in the 1st half and we play catch up all game.

Samuels is tough down low, and has a big body. I feel that Orton will have to play a huge role, because more than likely Cousins ends up in quick foul trouble, or on the bench pouting as he has done often this year.

It's going to be a test.

UT has the talent and starting experience to beat Memphis. We can't give up 21 point to Elliot Williams but we probably will, making this game a whole lot closer than it should be. If we lose this one, it will tell me that we have not improved since April. If we win, it will give the team and coach some much needed confidence for SEC play.

UL has lost to Charlotte, Western Carolina, and UNLV. UK is undefeated and has beaten the best teams in the league. UK will win by double digits. UK's true test will come when they are playing two SEC games a week.

Louisville is going to try and put you guys away when Wall is out of the game. Liggins and Bledsoe seem shaky against pressure sometimes.

Unless in foul trouble, Wall will not see the pine, other than 40 seconds before a TV time out to get some extra breaths in.

Or if we build a decent lead.

He has played 37-40 minutes several times this season already, in less meaningful games.
