I guess that puts a end to the 'They forced Pat out ' !

It should. But the conspiracy theorists will come up with an alternate explanation because the simple truth does not fit their agenda.

If any family member or friend has contracted this hideous disease you understand all too well what happened and what happens next. I don't hate much on this planet - but I HATE Alzheimer's and especially dementia.

My grandfather had dementia and to watch him deteriorating mentally and physically was draining on me and it hurts to see someone you love going through that. Truly it's a terrible disease.

Every time I read stories about Pat brings tears to my eyes. She is the reason I fell in love with girls' basketball and decided to coach girls. I still miss her famous, "don't make that mistake again", stare and her demand for excellence. Her coaching life was cut way too short. I have to believe that she would have figured out some way, some how to keep the LV program a top five program. I really do miss Pat.:air_kiss:

Sad she got the dreaded illness and is not the coach no more. Hopefully they will find a cure in her lifetime so she can have many more years of quality life.

My mother in law has this dreaded illness, it tears you apart from the inside out and all you can do is sit back and watch a helpless feeling.
