Guys I have been following recruiting for many years (before I even knew about this site) and this is by far the most interest I have seen in tennesee from the recruits. I usually keep up with every prospect and how they are doing and I cant even do it now. I remember this time last year there was not much going on but look now. Our forum is completely full with new recruits and how much interest they have in UT!

ITS GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOL!!!

I agree. Now if they will just start committing. I know they are, but it seems slow going.

This is the first year for me to follow recruiting this time of year. Is it usual for us to be so far behind Florida and Alabama with commits so far?

No, but we usually start slow. That's nothing unusual. Florida coming off of a NC has a lot to do with their success. Saban does it with smoke and mirrors.

If u look at Florida they Won a NC plus of in-state talent
Nick Saban just throws a complementary escalade with every commit

It will be interesting to see how well we hold on to the commits that we pick up in the next couple of months.

I believe the dam is about to break and commits will start to come in the next couple of months. Moody for this year, Jose, Koenig, Carmon, Quarles, Mincy, Heaps, Mason, Milton, etc. By the end of July, I expect the Vols to be setting pretty and getting ready to make a run at Ambles, Prater, Ash, Alfy Hill, Hailes, Ferguson, Joyner, Dorsey, Stone, Chaz, etc. This could be a monster class imo...

I think it has been proven that they have more fast twitch muscles or a high chance of having a higher % of them. Something with more fast-twitch muscles.

Just kidding.

On topic, I have to wonder if the 2010 recruits' interest lists are even accurate for teams with new coaching staffs. Seems like a lot of the lists of those outside the Rivals 100 haven't been updated for awhile. So there could even be more interest than it appears

Behind which are trucks and Escalades filled with textbooks.
