The Black Eye Peas. I was hoping for a group like ZZ Top, after all its Dallas and the band is from there. Would be a sweet performance, guess I won't be watching it this year...

Since they stop letting Mtv pick who performs the only one that I have found tolerable was Prince.

anything would be an improvement over geriatric British glam rockers

yea, cause they haven't run enough old washed up acts out there in recent years.

EVER ever or just Super Bowl ever?

ever ever. It was ok during NBA, got old during World Cup and now its just annoying.

It would be cool to have... "My Name is KIDDDDDDD"

He was pretty funny yesterday on the stand. "yes your honor, I am a Professional Beer Drinking Musician"

I am surprised they didnt pick someone in country music, since that seems to be pretty popular today

BEP just dont get me excited

I'm surprised they didn't get Taylor Swift. Maybe they figure they will be done shoving her down everyone's throats by February.

And I've actually fairly enjoyed the recent "oldies" halftime shows (excluding The Rolling Stones). The pop stuff made me sick, but they've done the old bands to death. I LOVED Prince's performance though. Singing "Purple Rain", IN the rain. Awesome!

I say let AC/DC be the next act that the NFL calls up. Since they are calling up old acts and all, they might as well.

At least it isn't another group sent out to please the Viagra and Flomax crowd. Though, AC/DC would be excellent. I'd love that.

Not bad. They put on a decent show. ZZ top is too busy drinking and playing golf to play the SuperBowl.

Is this reference to Tom petty and Springsteen? If so, you my friend, are an idiot.

it's in reference to the past 6 performers; Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Prince, TP, Bruce and The Who.
The reference was to their age and relevance, not your preference of music.
